A clear plan for your next chapter.

A new build starts with more than a floor plan. How you want to use the building, the conditions of the property and the decisions about materials and finishes all shape the work. We help turn those discussions into a scope you can review.

Bring your drawings, site information and priorities. We discuss what is ready, what needs further confirmation and how those details affect an actual estimate. Design requirements and approvals are established before work is scheduled.

Your questions, answered.

What kinds of new construction can we discuss?

We discuss residential new construction based on your plans, proposed use and site. The first consultation establishes the work you need and which site, design and construction details must be confirmed.

Do I need finished plans before contacting you?

You can contact us while you are still defining the project. Share the plans, sketches, site information and priorities you have so the next planning steps can be identified.

What site information helps with an estimate?

Helpful information includes the property location, proposed building size, available drawings, site access and known utility or site conditions. Final pricing depends on confirmed scope, measurements and requirements.

What is included in the construction estimate?

The estimate should define the agreed work and selected materials, along with any exclusions or items still to be confirmed. Site work, structure, utilities and interior finishes need a clearly established scope before you compare proposals.

How long will a new construction project take?

Timing depends on the project size, design readiness, required approvals, material availability and site conditions. A project-specific schedule is discussed after the scope is confirmed; the Project Estimator does not promise a completion date.

Where do you offer new construction services?

Farrar’s Home Improvements serves south-central Pennsylvania, including Shippensburg, Chambersburg, Carlisle, Greencastle and other communities listed on our Service Areas page. Contact us to confirm coverage for your property.
